The long awaited return of Earl of Sandwich and the introduction of a new celebrity chef gastropub in Downtown Disney moved closer to reality as the tandem restaurants began hiring for the twin grand openings.
Earl of Sandwich and Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby are hiring for kitchen and front of house positions at the Anaheim outdoor shopping mall next to Disneyland and Disney California Adventure, according to MiceChat.
“An early spring opening is hopefully in the cards,” according to MiceChat.

The new British-themed gastropub by “Hell’s Kitchen” celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay will be located atop the new Earl of Sandwich fast-casual restaurant being built on the west end of Downtown Disney.
The ground floor of the two-story location will be the new permanent home of the nomadic Earl of Sandwich fast casual restaurant that has bounced around Downtown Disney over the past few years.
Earl Enterprises has announced the new permanent Earl of Sandwich location in Downtown Disney will open this winter. That winter window officially closes on March 20 when spring begins.
The Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby gastropub is scheduled to open in 2026.
Ramsay visited Downtown Disney in January with Disneyland resort president Thomas Mazloum to inspect the new Carnaby restaurant that is still under construction and surrounded by scaffolding.
