A frantic two hours as police struggled to assess threat before San Diego shooters opened fire

Two hours before the deadly attack at a San Diego mosque occurred, one of the suspect’s mothers reached out to police warning that her son was suicidal and had taken firearms from his father’s safe, but it took police nearly 90 minutes to respond to the initial call.
