California man robbed of $200,000 in jewelry while checking on flat tire

Police are searching for three suspects who robbed a man as he was checking on a flat tire in the Woodland Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles Monday night.

The victim was leaving a restaurant shortly before 9 p.m. when he noticed he had a flat tire and pulled over on the 21100 block of Ventura Boulevard near Canoga Avenue to check on it.

That’s when he was approached by three males wearing ski masks.

“They put their knife on me and they grabbed my bag, and they took all of my stuff and all of my jewelry. More than 200,000 dollars value jewelry. They robbed me,” victim Ali Sedagsat said.

Sedagsat said the jewelry was inside a backpack that the thieves took off with. It was unclear if the suspects knew he was carrying jewelry in the bag.
