Manson follower Patricia Krenwinkel, murderer imprisoned half a century, is recommended for parole

Krenwinkel was granted parole on a preliminary basis Tuesday at her 18th hearing to gauge her suitability for parole, according to the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.
