Monterey County’s Board of Supervisors this week voted to move forward on a plan to restrict parking around Bixby Bridge, arguably the most iconic stop along Highway 1 in Big Sur. The parking moratorium, however, has not yet gone into effect and likely won’t several weeks, if not months.
