DIVISION 6
Segerstrom (14-2-6) vs. Ocean View (13-6-3) at Ocean View High, 5 p.m.
Outlook: The Orange Coast League rivals have each advanced to the finals for the first time. Segerstrom defeated Ocean View 2-0 and 1-0 en route to the league title. Sophomore Jewel Orellana leads the Jaguars with 15 goals. Segerstrom has allowed only one goal in the playoffs. Ocean View bounced back this winter after finishing 0-16-2 last season. Senior Marisa Vo paces the Seahawks with 16 goals. Both teams have qualified for the CIF Southern California Regional next week.
SATURDAY’S GAMES

OPEN DIVISION
Mater Dei (14-2-8) vs. Santa Margarita (16-1-5) at El Modena High, 3:30 p.m.
Outlook: Defending Open Division champion Santa Margarita faces Trinity League rival Mater Dei as its aims for a record 10th section crown. In league, the top-seeded Eagles played No. 3 Mater Dei to a 1-1 draw and collected a 4-1 triumph. The Monarchs scored first in both matches.
Santa Margarita has reached a fourth consecutive final with a young squad. Utah committed wing Jastel David (nine goals, six assists) is the team’s lone senior starter. The crafty dribbler teams with high-scoring Felicity Nguyen (25 goals, seven assists) and Lauren Lim (seven goals, four assists) to power the Eagles’ attack. Sophomore Ella Bott (three goals, six assists) helps build the offense from her midfielder spot. Sophomore defender Reagan Condon is out for the remainder of the season after suffering a cut in the semifinals that required several stitches, Santa Margarita coach Craig Bull said.
Mater Dei claimed Division 1 last season for its fifth section title. Senior Valentina Labuschagne, who signed with Rice, leads the Monarchs with 21 goals and eight assists. Sophomore midfielder Kendra Hansen (seven goals, seven assists) helps fuels the attack and excels at drawing free kicks. Defender Addy Rodriguez (eight assists), a Colorado State commit, possess a strong leg for set pieces. Junior Sophia Di Gerlando (10 assists) is another key distributor.

DIVISION 1
Newport Harbor (17-5-4) vs. Roosevelt (19-4-6) at Veterans Stadium, 3:30 p.m.
Outlook: The Sailors, ranked No. 20 in the bracket, have reached their first final by allowing only one goal in the playoffs. Newport Harbor’s backline consists of juniors Leah Showalter, Maddie Michel and Caroline Harner. Goalkeeper Aliyah Chappell also is a junior. Freshman Cassandra Jacoby leads the team with 12 goals while junior Mia Knox, a midfielder committed to UC Irvine, has six goals and two assists.
Roosevelt, ranked No. 19 in the bracket, defeated Edison and Etiwanda in the second round and quarterfinals on penalty kicks. The Mustangs are led by senior Delilah Woods, a Boise State signee who has 14 goals and 14 assists. Senior Kamryn Rembis has 13 goals and five assists,
